A Career in Homeopathy: Preparing Students for Success in Practice

If you are a student beginning their Homeopathic studies or even just thinking about it, it is hard to imagine being in the shoes of one of our year 3 students who are on the verge of graduating and beginning a whole new journey as a practicing Homeopath.

So, You Want to Become a Homeopath?

The first step is to gain a clear understanding of what is and isn’t Homeopathy.  Believe it or not, there is a lack of clarity about what is and isn’t Homeopathy.  Homeopathy is a form of natural medicine with a specific set of scientific principles.  So, it makes sense that you need to follow these principles in order to be practicing Homeopathy.

Homeopaths Working Together- Yes, YOU Are A Stake Holder in the Process of Regulation!

On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, at 6:15pm, a room filled with homeopaths had the pleasure to meet Eden Gajraj, Public Member and listen to Basil Ziv, Registrar, and Janet Blanchard, Policy and Communications Officer of the Transitional Council of the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, speak publicly. Wow, was it ever an education!

Sowing the Seeds for a United Homeopathic Profession in Ontario

Just over a year ago the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) sponsored a weekend seminar on Pediatrics by Farokh Master and Kim Elia.  During this weekend, Joyce Edge, our Director of Admissions, had an idea.  Would it be possible to bring the Homeopathic community together?

Let's Celebrate Our Evolution!

I am so grateful to be working at CCHM! It’s not every day that you get to celebrate with great people, eat hors d'oeuvres, and amazingly enough with one or two celebrity homeopaths.

Study Week: Making Homeopathy Come Alive

Distance and on-line education are becoming a more popular choice for students wishing to continue their education but who, for whatever reason, are not able to come to class.  It offers flexibility and the opportunity for students to study at their own pace and often, from their own homes.
