Welcome Back Students!

You Don't Have To Suffer From Allergies With Homeopathy

It’s September again.  Many of us look at this time of year as the start of a new year.  This probably comes from all those years in school.  I look at the Fall as one of new beginnings.  Fall is usually a time of increased energy and starting new projects after the slower pace of the summer months.

Busting the Myths About Homeopathy!

If you have spent any time on the internet, on social media sites like Twitter or Facebook or even watch the television, you have probably seen people saying that Homeopathy just doesn’t work.  These people often call themselves “sceptics”.  They claim that they are all about the scientific process, yet when presented with clear evidence to the contrary, they almost blindly cling to their opinions.  Accordingly, I like to refer

Homeopathy for the Garden:

Getting Ready for Another Exciting Year at CCHM!

Can you believe it is almost August?  This is the time of year when we have our feet in two worlds. Harry Potter and Homeopathy- What's the Connection?

Today is July 15th, 2011.  This is a very exciting day for many children and adults around the world because the last Harry Potter movie, The Deathly Hallows, Part II, opens today.  Yes, I admit it.  I am a huge Harry Potter fan.  I have seen all of the movies and read all of the books.  You may be wondering why I am spending time talking about Harry Potter-‘this has nothing to do with Homeopathy’!

Homeopathy- A Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)

These days there is more and more health information available on the internet.  Specifically, there is growing interest in using ‘natural’ treatments for the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of health complaints. We are also witnessing the beginning of more global connectedness especially through social networking websites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

What is ‘CAM’?

Graduation Day: Sending Out Another Crop of Homeopaths Into the World!

When I woke up on Saturday June 25thand saw the dark, cloudy skies and felt the cooler temperatures I was hoping that it wouldn’t rain during our graduation ceremony or the pictures.  Graduation is not only an important day for staff and faculty at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM), it is an equally significant day for our graduates.
